Freehouse Brewery will be taking over the taps, and be sure to stick around for cool door prizes from Monster Music and more.

Frothy Turns Two

They grow up so fast. Frothy Beard Brewing Company is turning two, and what would a birthday be without a party? Music, food, and, of course, beer will be available to those 19 years older than Frothy. Cyde-Effect
March 21 | 7:00 p.m. | Free admission
Drop a line at Sneaker this Saturday, when they will be hosting TheFIX.fm's first official cypher. Not quite sure what a cypher is? Neither were we. Fortunately, organizer Vaughn Postema of Call Me VP clued us in. "A cypher is a beautiful way to showcase the talent of individuals who choose to dabble in the art of rapping. A group of these artists gather around and take turns giving a 'hot 16' (which is 16 bars, which equates to about 1 minute and 15 seconds). This continues in rotation until the last artist has his or her turn." Dope.
The Independents | First World Problem

South Carolina punk legends The Independents will take the stage at The Sparrow, bringing back their signature blend of ska, Elvis, and the Ramones. They will split the bill with Charleston punk fave First World Problem, who are fresh out of the studio and ready to unleash their raw energy on the crowd.
